SPECIAL NOTE: I am not a historian. I do not claim to be an authority on American Bandstand so please don't hold me to exact details, especially since most everyone doesn't know them or recall them from 50 years ago. I do this tribute just because I loved living during the time of the early show and seeing it every day--just like many of you. I work with the input of some Regulars who danced on the show and fans and we all try to piece together a loving and happy tribute to the show.
