Not sure of the year that Joan Buck passed away. If anyone has the information, I would appreciate learning the date of her death.
On May 24, 2023, our beloved Early American Bandstand Regular/Dancer Justine Carrelli passed away. I was so shocked at this news and it has taken me a while to realize that it truly happened. She had been in my life from the first time I watched American Bandstand in 1957 and saw her dancing across the TV screen. In later life as a working lady in Los Angeles CA, I decided to create a blog on my vintage website to honor my favorite show back in the day, and of course Justine and Bob Clayton were both a big part of those memories that I wanted to share along with many other Regulars on the show. Each time we lose one of them, it hurts my heart and therefore this memorial. I will add a separate link for the on-line obituary, but I could not let this news pass without my creating my own memorial to Justine. May she rest in eternal peace and may her hubby Jim be comforted by how many fans loved her.
I just learned that Justine's beloved sister Mary passed away on June 25, 2024. I am adding Mary's obituary here as I know that Justine would want Mary remembered here even though she was not an American Bandstand dancer. May Mary and Justine both rest in peace and know that we have them in our hearts.
Although Justine's sister (Maryclaire Carrelli Fair) was not a dancer on American Bandstand, I feel it important to put the notice of her passing away here, as Justine and her were very close and I have many pictures of Mary on Justine's photo pages.
Bob Clayton died November 6, 2016. I will be working on a mult-pictorial page for Bob. (noted 9/12/21)
Bill (Billy Cook) passed away, but I do not have any specific info as to date, etc. If anyone has verifiable information they would like to contribute, please contact me and I will update this.

American Bandstand Regular/Dancer and Dance Contest winner Dottie Horner passed away October 28, 2020. May she rest in peace. From Facebook here is one of the memorials to her:
I was lucky enough to be able to visit a full day with Myrna while she lived in Palmdale, CA. It was an interesting and pleasant day. In the years following our visit, her health continued to fail and she returned to the East where she had friends who could look after her and help with her care. It was a sad day when I learned of her passing. I do not have the exact date and hope it can be provided. Was it 2009 that she left us? I had lost touch with her after she left California.
My husband and I were very pleased to be able to meet Frank Levins and his lovely wife Elisabeth for lunch at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia, CA when they made a trip to California

I believe Jimmy Peatross died in January of 2011. Anyone who possesses different and accurate information may feel free to contact me to make any necessary corrections. His frequent dance partner Joan Buck has also passed away.
Harvey has passed away, but I do not have the year or specific date or data. I will try to obtain more information and add it here.
