..and how about SWEET NOTHIN'S. And one more time...VOLARE. I stumbled on this adorable girl from today's world on YouTube. Sayaka could definitely bring our music back. She looks like she could step off the dance floor at 1950s American Bandstand. She is so perfectly retro and sweet--and she has talent too. She looks so wholesome, dresses so cute and she sings well all the oldies but goodies...and this first one I will put here is a song we all recognize from our Bandstand viewing days. She is half Japanese and half Sicilian. So what do you think? Am I right that she's adorable, that she so typifies the 50s, that she has so much personality and raw talent which will only get better with time and a professional setting? And can we say DYNAMITE SMILE! I see shades of Connie Francis and Annette Funicello in there, especially when she does the hand clapping. I am going to contact her to see if I might embed some of her videos from time to time on my website. I would love to promote a kid today who cherishes the music that we do as well. It's SIMPLY REFRESHING!
